The Bank of New York monitors the status of current international tax treaties between countries relative to our clients’ securities activities. Through INFORM, clients can receive notification of important information related to tax changes, international trading rules, disruptions and general market news. This information is easily accessible and conveniently located under the Country Profiles icon. Tax reclaim rate applications and processing procedures by market are also available under this icon.
INFORM allows clients to create both ad hoc and template driven reports, and view them on-line. These reports include:
The status of any outstanding reclaim is reported on either a daily or a monthly basis. Reports are refreshed on retrieval with the most current data available to assist in managing tax reclaims, as well as aiding in the reconciliation of daily tax reclaim activity.
