The Bank of New York Mellon understands your multi-currency cash management needs and the subtleties of these needs in the context of investment management. Our INFORM product gives you the tools necessary to effectively manage risk, improve yields and meet your funding requirements.

As a leading US Dollar cash clearer and the largest global custodian with cash and securities under custody in 101 markets, we have the experience and expertise to assist you in achieving your cash management goals. Through INFORM you can find your latest balances in multiple currencies, transactions which have settled, pending wires, cash transactions related to securities settlements, dividends, corporate actions and foreign exchange transactions – all suitably referenced for further drill down. If you need to see how your cash position is expected to change over the coming days, we can also provide this information.

Once you know your cash position, INFORM will help you move your cash where you need it. With INFORM’s smartcard security and dual authorization and transaction limits, both you and your auditors can be confident that your wire transfer security risks are being managed. And with deadlines tailored to your specific timezone, you can optimize your cash position until as late as possible.

Repetitive payments? No problem. We can arrange a standing order which provides further security over your payments. Management of residual balances? No problem. If appropriate, we can automatically consolidate them, exchange them into different currencies, or both. With INFORM you can accomplish all of this, saving you time and effort.

Finally, as your balance changes throughout the day, if appropriate, we can provide intraday and overnight funding when you have an overdraft. We also offer a variety of investment options ranging from paying interest on your demand deposit account, to sweeps into a variety of leading money market funds in several currencies.
